On the afternoon of July 7, the men’s final match between Little Sparrow Club and HMTU took place, closing the 4th Hai Duong Province Club Basketball Tournament at the Hai Duong Province Sports Gymnasium. As a result, Little Sparrow Club defeated HMTU Club with a score of 53-40 and won the championship.
In the women’s category, the Gymnasium Club won the championship after 2 wins over Little Sparrow Club and Nguyen Trai Hoopers.
The 2023 Hai Duong Provincial Basketball Club Tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on July 6 and 7. The tournament brought together 3 women’s teams, 6 men’s teams, with over 130 athletes from 7 clubs, including: HMTU, Little Sparrow, Nguyen Trai Hoopers, Nasa, Sports Gymnasium, Chi Linh Basket and Nasa.
The Hai Duong Province Basketball Club Tournament is an annual tournament, gathering athletes who are junior high school, high school and university students, with registered residence in Hai Duong.
Little Sparrow won the men’s championship with the basketball team of Hong Quang High School, while the Sports Gymnasium Club won the women’s championship with athletes mostly from secondary school students.
